I’m Jennifer Bowman Gray and I have been creating jewelry and accessories since I was a kid. I am Native American of the Cherokee and Choctaw Tribes of Oklahoma.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy mother taught me how to bead at an early age. Honestly, it was my first job at age 9. I would use my mother’s patterns, given to her by my grandmother, to make barrettes, necklaces and bracelets. As you can imagine, the technique of a child was a little rough in the beginning, but my mother taught me that every piece must have the care and attention as if it were the only piece that anyone would see.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs I grew older, I started experimenting with different designs and began to combine traditional patterns with pops of color. I wanted my work to be appealing to a broad spectrum of people, those who craved tradition and those that loved something a little different.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"banner-img\"\u003eFor over two decades I have brought my work to gift shops and craft shows across the country.
